As far as #2 goes, in cases of severe bleeding that won't stop under direct pressure, a compression band can help slow blood flow to a limb without cutting it off completely
-
Basically, a compression band is just a loose tourniquet. Ideally, you should be able to fit 2-3 fingers between the band and the limb, to ensure it isn't so tight as to cut bloodflow completely.

Botulinum toxin- endospore of bacterium very heat resistant
Bacterium (Clostridium botullinum) can survive several hours (212 F/100 C) or 10 mins (248 F/120 C)
Diseases have distinguished smell (doctors can detect them)
Eye muscle have a special from of rapidly contracting myosin
^ blinks about 100,000 times a day
Equivalent to leg muscle work= 50 miles
Cerymen- ear wax-oily fatty substance
Special enzyme (lysozyme) break down cell walls of bacteria
Person’s field of vision (200 degrees)
pH of blood
arterial blood 7.4
veneous blood 7.35
due to arterial having less Carbon dioxide
veins are blue because blood in It lacks oxygen gas, which makes blood appear deep, dark-red, almost purplish

1 cube in of bone can stand 19,000 lbs (8,626 kg)= 5 standard size pickup trucks

Bone’s resistance= aluminum and light steel. Ounce for ounce, bone is stronger. Steel 5x as heavy in same dimension
Muscles
White (arm)
-less blood to them
Built for speed (not endurance)
Fast contractions
And movements
Tires faster than dark muscles
Dark (leg)
Dark b/c of ink supply supply of blood with myoglobin content
Dark muscle for endurance
Anatomy of hand
Hands <-> all tendons, no muscle
Muscle in forearm controls hands
Muscle cramps
Prevention
-take minerals (sodium, calcium, magnesium)
-stop fatigued muscle
-prevent cold muscles
